VitarelliDiana & John Vitarelli co-own and operate Dhyana Yoga out of their cozy Bucks County home and like to keep things “Mom & Pop” style. Diana was born in Chester, PA and John in Camden, NJ, so they share not only an Italian heritage but also a hard working approach to life. Diana started practicing in 1989 and teaching 7 years later, and John started practicing in the early 90’s and began teaching in 2004. They have both graduated from Tim Miller’s Ashtanga Teacher Training, taken Ashtanga programs in Mysore, India at KPAJYI, and John continues to study Ashtanga as his main practice. Diana, AKA “Dhyana,” is also certified in Kundalini Yoga, Primordial Sound Meditation, and Ayurveda. They were married on Guru Purnima in July of 2010 and welcomed their sweet daughter, Lorraine, into the world in April 2012. They love Yoga, travel, their dogs, hanging out together, teaching, and food (John is also a trained chef)! John teaches Vinyasa in the Ashtanga style and Led Primary classes, Diana teaches Vinyasa in the Ashtanga style, Meditation (group and individual), and specialized workshops and teacher training modules in Ayurveda, Chakras, Archetypes, Koshas and other such topics which she lovingly calls “impossible.”
